Some really good news this morning. A Syrian family had been in Wrexham for around a year, the father being an electrical engineer but with all his certificates in Syria he had no way to prove it. He had felt that there was no way of getting employed in UK as he had no way to fund doing the English qualifications.

Anyway just over 6 weeks ago we called out for a sponsor for him, and a very kind donor who wanted to remain anonymous funded £1050 for both courses he needed to do, the first one was in July, second one is coming up in August.

Just had some amazing news in:

“Morning Jane,

I have news! XXXX has now got a job in his electrical field as a direct result of XXXX’s sponsorship! His new employer is allowing him to complete the second course which is this week.

He is so grateful and has asked me to pass on his thanks once again for the support that he has received. All he has wanted to do has been to provide for his family and this contribution has enabled him to get off benefits and get the job he so desperately wanted.

Please also pass on my thanks to XXXX, I am delighted that after a year of trying he has at last got the chance that he so deserves.”

What a great way to start the week. To the sponsor I can’t thank you enough you have changed someone’s life after darkness comes light
